Sankisa undoubtedly is a holy place for all Buddhists ,be it Theravadans or Mahayans. But the main problem is the lack of accomodations and reachability or lack of transportations .It is too remote and pilgrims are scared for the safety. I am sure more tourists and pilgrims will visit if the government makes the road pliable to them .
